  • The Money And Wealth Mindset

It is a common belief that the world is divided into two groups of people-the ones that have, and the ones that have not. Here’s the important question, where do you think you are in? Do you believe that you are one of those have-not’s and there is no way out of it? What a sad state to be in; fortunately, you don’t have to stay there. You can have an absolutely amazing quality of life-the universe is just waiting to get it to you.

Do you want to know the secret to get wealth? First things first, what does money mean to you? Note that it is not the general definition we ask but what the personal meaning it is to you. Your perception on the piece of paper will determine your financial success. Money is more than currency-it is an idea.

So what do you think about prosperity? People who are uncomfortable with this concept tend to live in need and lack of resources. If you think you are not this person carefully check yourself. Are you allowing your present situation dictate the perception you have on your financial status? Are you concentrating more on what you do not have today instead of what you can have tomorrow?

How regrettable that we have excellent learning institutions in place that teach on almost all important matters yet still have so much need in educating people how to build wealth effectively. Three percent of the population knows the secret to the infallible wealth acquisition and it is this: you need to think rich before you get rich.

To build wealth you must first believe, indeed, live the truth of prosperity in your mind first. Have a prosperity consciousness that will make every situation an opportunity for you to create abundance. Remember, being broke is an event; it is not who you are. You need to live this, see this and breathe this every day until it becomes it penetrates into your physical reality.

Alright, you want this-now what can you do about it? Grade yourself on the level of your current prosperity today. Write down your desires and goals and be specific about it. Begin speaking out a prosperity motivation quote every day. What you are doing is training your subconscious mind to act in assistance to bringing the motivation quote into fruition.

Understand that money needs to be more than what you can buy for yourself-it must be seen in the perspective on how to improve the quality of life in other people. Do not be dishonest and manipulative in your money-making endeavors-you will not be happy; hence true wealth will constantly elude you.

Begin your journey to a most satisfying life today. Adopt a wealthy mindset and create the world you want to live in. To be rich is easier than you would think-all you need is to make the decision to be one today.

  • The Law of Attraction and The Law of Receiving

11 forgotton lawsThe Law of Receiving is one of Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey’s 11 Forgotten Laws. The 11 Forgotten Laws is a program and study course based upon Raymond Holliwell’s book Working With The Law.

Some what of a surprising message is this Law of Receiving. (That’s Yoda-speak for, The Law of receiving has a surprising message.) In order to receive you must first give. Most people, myself included, have always been of the mind that you must get before you can give. In my mind I have always figured when I hit the big time I will then be able to give more in charitable contributions. Habitat for Humanity is my personal favorite. I donate sporadically. But according to this Law of Receiving the giving must come first. As Raymond Holliwell states giving, “is the first law of all creation.” I believe it was the creators of the Chicken Soup For The Soul series whom I have seen giving a seminar on the benefits of giving. Considering the astounding success of their books, I am thinking they must know of what they speak. But I must say, I didn’t really get it then. I did not really get it in the Law of Attraction sort of way. Giving opens up an avenue for receiving.

When I look back on my life I can see places where I was using this law and it was working very well for me but I wasn’t even aware. There have been many times where I gave selflessly and gained much in return. Sometimes the rewards were monetary, sometimes spiritual, often times both. In my current financial situation, I can see where my money making strategy has been a bit weak. Certainly the financial benefits have had that same weakness. Bob Proctor says, “Giving always precedes and predetermines the reception, whether you’re giving your thought, your work, your service, or your deed.”

In my mind and most certainly in my heart, the idea that I am giving something that will benefit others makes the work so much more satisfying. It also gives the work a much higher value which can most certainly be financially beneficial. However, we must be aware that there is a right and also a wrong way to give. Careless and impulsive giving will get careless results. But there can also be as Proctor puts it, “careful, scientific giving.” If our giving retards progress then there can be no benefit. Such as giving a person food instead of teaching him to feed himself would be detrimental. However giving the help a person needs to stand on their own can be powerful.

Proctor suggests we tithe 10% of our income before anything else. He says tithing ,”is an orderly, methodical plan of giving, which creates a steady flow of reciprocal good to be received.” Not bad. He goes on to say, “tithing gives a person self-reliance, a confidence which enables him to build up a positive mental attitude which attracts success.” That’s what I’m all about, “attracting success.”

Now after we give, there is more to do. Next we must prepare to receive. As Raymond Holliwell states, “This is the most interesting part, because our preparation shows our active faith.” This ties in with what we know of the Law of Attraction. Our desire, and our attention to that desire, sets us up to receive what we desire. We may get what we expect to receive. Holliwell goes on to say, “The key to the law then is: We are continually drawing into life what we give and expect.” so if we give in a lazy manner we can expect to receive lazy results. However in giving it our all we can expect results that may just exceed our expectations.

Imagine the results you will get when you give all you can give in a thoughtful manner. You may just surprise yourself.

  • The Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon

The hundredth monkey effect was supposedly based on research of a group of monkeys on one particular island. This group lived on a Japanese island and was given sweet potatoes covered in sand.

These monkeys learned to wash these potatoes and the behavior began to spread to younger generations of monkeys. The scientists then went onto report that this behavior seemed to spontaneously appear on other islands among other monkeys that did not have any contact with the first group.

The study was published but has now been discredited; individuals have said it was part of “New Age Mythology”. It was discredited in part because at least one monkey who knew how to wash the potatoes may have swam to another island and spent an amount of time there.

Scientists disprove things often and at times are right and wrong. Could this Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon be true and if so what does it mean?

If the hundredth monkey phenomenon is true that would mean that at a certain level of awareness this information could be communicated. With this vast universe and all the things we do not fully understand, is it silly to believe it is not possible.

However, scientific “tests” are accurate. If the level of precision was not there for any scientists liking (especially those who are out to disprove such a phenomenon) then it must be inaccurate.

Finding a test to measure mass consciousness may be quite difficult. Science may never agree with the Hundredth Monkey Theory or any other relating to a communications among the minds.

With all that we do not know the idea of having a communicating consciousness can be pretty scary to many. Fear drives people and perhaps that is why there is always such a fervor to disprove anything that seems impossible.

What is your opinion about The Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon?
